Built in 1910 by Andrew Carnegie as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Skibo, the estate was built to be a 12 mile walk to Skibo for the family, with the Falls of Shin at the bottom of the garden!
The lodge features the only complete Liberty of London interior in Scotland. Notable features are the en suite bathrooms – a rarity when the lodge was built in 1910. The house also features the second ever Otis lift installed in Scotland, by the son of Mr Otis.
